Summary
About the Position: Serves as an Education Services Specialist responsible for implementation of Army policy, determination of specific educational programs, and service needs for the IMCOM-Europe region.
Duties
Promote program participation by developing news releases, information papers, command letters and articles for publication.
Primary point of contact for Army Continuing Education System (ACES) in support of several key automated support programs necessary for efficient and effective operation.
Coordinate policy and guidance with internal and external components to ensure ACES programs align with established Army goals and objectives.
Conduct surveys to evaluate operations and program results and use findings in planning, developing and installing modified programs.
Provide technical guidance in the operation of educational programs, to include needs assessments, teacher qualifications, material and facility requirements, curricula, and evaluation techniques.
Prepare and provide information regarding Soldier development programs, tuition assistance, and technologies that impact an Army education.
Provide input on management and distribution of fiscal resources and provide analysis of budget documents, spend plans, and year-end reports.
Conduct training on automated systems/processes and participate in workshops providing guidance and assistance to the ACES community.
Serve as a Test Control Officer and administer testing programs.
