Summary

Duties

You will inspect, analyze, and evaluate electronic security systems, performing appropriate tests to ensure they provide adequate protection.

You will collaborate with team members and security specialists to design systems that maximize protection while minimizing impact on the daily mission.

You will coordinate with security system contractors on installation, maintenance, and testing to identify and resolve performance issues.

You will apply advanced security policy knowledge to serve as a technical expert, developing creative solutions for complex security problems.

You will coordinate, conduct, and document security vulnerability assessments on electronic systems and unmanned vehicles.

You will support the design, setup, and certification of new security systems to ensure they integrate with existing layouts and meet all safety standards.

Education

Educational substitution for the GS-11:Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or Possession of an LL.M., if related to the position being filled.
