The incumbent will be responsible for development, coordination and implementation of cross discipline product development activities.
Duties
This position is being filled under AcqDemo Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) for non-acquisition positions involving 51% or more of time in direct support of acquisition positions within Business and Technical Management Professional Career path. As a Electronics Engineer at the NH-0855-3 some of your typical work assignments may include: Participates in a variety of circuit card and system design efforts that require application of electrical engineering techniques. Apply advanced circuit card and system design techniques to develop critical subcomponents for large-scale projects. Develop and implement design specifications, electronic schematics, Bill of Materials, and PCB layer stack-up and circuit layout. Investigate and implement solutions for high-speed data acquisition, data processing systems, radio frequency (RF) transmissions, and digital signal processing algorithms. Contributes to a variety of microelectronics-based system designs as part of a multi-engineering team, utilizing advanced electrical and electronics systems engineering principles. Lead cross-disciplinary initiatives to design, develop, implement, simulate and validate microcircuit functionalities using advanced electronics design software and laboratory equipment. Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM) with team mates and clients, providing technical and program status. Work closely with support contractors and commercial vendors on the development, prototyping, and manufacturing of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and mechanical enclosure designs. Collaborate within a team of designers, engineers and technicians through the entire Microelectronics product life-cycle.
