Summary
This vacancy is for a Facility Operations Specialist position in the Administrative and Customer Support Division located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. The Census Bureau is accessible from the Metro Rail Green Line - Suitland Station.
Duties
Conduct routine inspections of the building and grounds to ensure compliance with the facility contracts and established safety standards.
Assist in the installation or relocation of furniture items or other requested items, to designated workspaces.
Receive requests and/or complaints regarding lighting, heating, air conditioning, general cleaning, and communicate with appropriate entities for further action.
Interface with customers, vendors, and team members in support of facility initiatives, work requests, or other duties as assigned in a professional and team-oriented manner.

Category Rating Procedures: If you meet the minimum qualifications stated in the job opportunity announcement and scoring requirements for all applicable assessments, you will be placed in one of three pre-defined categories.
