The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Associate Director, Financial Management and Comptroller at a MAJCOM/COCOM, responsible for formulating program goals, plans, and polices for the directorate's mission. Serves as the primary civilian advisor to the MAJCOM/COCOM Commander on all financial issues.

Duties

- As Associate Director of Financial Management and Comptroller at a MAJCOM/COCOM plans, organizes, and manages the activities of the directorate, and serves as the primary civilian advisor to the MAJCOM/COCOM Commander on all financial issues. - Serves as Senior Civilian Advisor for all MAJCOM/COCOM civilian employees (to include installation-level or other operating locations) and exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. - Leads and manages the completion of special projects, initiatives, assignments and represents the Directorate with a variety of MAJCOM/COCOM and functional area organizations. - Conducts managerial and financial reporting on the financial posture of the command and serves as MAJCOM/COCOM focal point and advocate for all Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) activities.
