Summary
This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence & Analysis (I&A). The primary purpose of this position is to provide information technology support, including data repositories, integrated systems, and cloud architectures as they relate to intelligence and analysis to the Secretary and the broad DHS Intelligence Enterprise (DHS IE), as well as DHS partners and customers to protect the homeland. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
Duties
As a IT Specialist (Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)/Cloud), GS-2210-13, your typical work assignments may include: The incumbent is responsible for supporting ongoing IT projects and programs that have a significant impact on the delivery of National Security and Intelligence Systems. Implement changes in response to changes in intelligence customer requirements. Resolves issues related to delivery of IT Systems and services. Works with other agency IT experts in strategy, security and delivery of classified hardware and software for new network or for major modifications to existing networks. Acts as liaison to Information Assurance programs and participates in coordinating system authorization.
