Summary
You will serve as a GG-2210-15 IT Specialist (INFOSEC) at NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY in Suitland, MD. As the Information Technology Officer for the Mission Planning and Analysis Center (MPAC) under Director MPAC, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, management, design, security and maintenance of all networks and computer systems in support of MPAC's in-house and deployed operational information systems.
Duties
You will provide oversight, management, and implementation of advanced information technology systems.
You will prepare budget inputs and control expenditures as directed.
You will manage the operational planning and service delivery, the training of personnel, and assess/present complex technical issues and decisions.
You will plan and direct short and long range operations for the center's IT framework and secure technology systems engineering and the technical management of IT, to include advanced servers, workstations, and network storage systems.
You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the Mission Planning and Analysis Center, overseeing the development and compliance of polices, procedures, and the acquisition of IT resources to include software, hardware, and service contracts.
You will plan and define IT requirements and procurement strategies as well as conduct research and alternative analysis in determining feasibility and scope of proposed projects.
You will collaborate with the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense IT professionals to ensure overall IT technical strategy is compliant with current Federal policy, standards, and directives.
You will support the center's Contracting Officer's Representative with development efforts and daily workloads carried out by contractors as well as monitor contractor performance to ensure work meets standards for authorization of payment.
