Summary
About the Position: Responsible for the management and accomplishments of either the Supply or Maintenance Section. Manage commercial/government transportation to include air and leased services for domestic and foreign movement of personnel and freight. This position is located on either Camp Zama, Japan or Okinawa, Japan. Recruitment incentives, including student loan repayment, may be offered to highly qualified candidates. Duties
Supply Management: Advise on appropriate methods for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of all equipment, supplies, and materials procured through the Logistics Management Office (LMO).
Maintenance Management: Provide staff direction for obtaining organizational vehicle and equipment maintenance at the District motor pool and satellite maintenance field offices.
Facilities and Services Management: Review and advise on office/work area space management and implement policies and standards for workspace allocations.
Travel and Transportation Management: Support transportation programs and functions to include traffic management, vehicle fleet management, and passenger and equipment support.
Oversight for all operations and maintenance of building and utility systems, space management utilization and control, physical security, energy conservation, fire protection and prevention and parking for government vehicles.
Supervision: Responsible for a full range of personnel management directly and indirectly to include: establishment of standards; creation of goals and work priorities; appraisals; recruitment and selection; discipline; and time and attendance.
Education
