Summary
The Real Property Management Services (RPMS) has responsibility for the Department of Justice's (DOJ) real property asset management programs. Assets include land, buildings, and other structures which are permanent acquisitions (federally- owned) or those that are temporary in nature, e.g. General Services Administration (GSA) assignments and leases. The incumbent serves as a Program Analyst on the real estate administration team supporting the real property, rent, and parking programs.
Duties
The duties and responsibilities for a Program Analyst, GS-0343-13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: * Responds to data calls, metric reporting, or other scheduled reporting for real property, rent and space. * Provides policy instruction and guidance pertaining to real property inventories and annual rent budgets. * Maintains financial, real property and asset databases and other resources, such as program operating plans, or space management tools. * Interprets financial, real property or space utilization reports, statements, and data that point out trends, identify deviations from standards. * Designs and develops financial statements and other reports for management officials. * Monitors the use and rate of expenditure of budgeted funds in assigned areas through continuing dialogue with program officials and their staff, review of written documents, and examination of accounting records. * Determines fiscal budget requirements and controls expenditures.
Education
