Duties
If selected at the GS-13 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity.
Serves as senior Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) staff specialist and advisor on quality assurance functions, policies, training and implementation.
Plans, formulates, and coordinates master quality assurance plans, policies, and programs for worldwide application at DCMA field activities.
Develops concepts, policies and training for mid and long term QA program plans, and formulates organization plans.
Evaluates effectiveness of plans and policies, training and develops improvements.
Leads team projects to eliminate barriers to continuous improvement in agency quality assurance functions.
Provides technical assistance and advice on intricate quality assurance issues to HQ DCMA management and field activities worldwide.
Provides liaison with various DCMA, DoD, other Government senior managers, organizations and industry.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
