Summary

Supervisory Administrative Officer positions are assigned to the Primary Care Service and Outpatient Clinics under the Office of the Associate Director. Conducting process improvement initiatives and lean management techniques. Serves as the principal advisor to personnel on administrative management program issues. Provides strategic planning and resource allocation. Designs and implements policies and procedures to manage administrative and personnel related functions. Participate in meetings.

Duties

Include but not limited to: Develops, plans, issues, and implements procedures to comply with directives concerning administrative matters. Analyzes, evaluates problems, makes recommendations, devises solutions to systems administration, training management, publication management, and data management. Consults with respective staff and/or personnel on progress in taking corrective action. Provides full staff assistance on administrative matters. Conduct analytical studies on operational processes, issue topics, or related special projects. Serves as the principal advisor to personnel on administrative management program issues. Participate in the planning for budgeting needs and financial management. Sets standards for and evaluates subordinates, and advises, counsels or instructs individual employees on both work and administrative matters. Serves as the lead for all lease modifications and supplemental agreements. Communicating with all stakeholders and acts as the leadership point of contact. Requirements

Physical Requirements: Work is generally sedentary, typically performed sitting at a desk, in conferences, briefings, or meetings, or riding in an automobile or plane while traveling to events. Walking, standing, and bending may be required, including during presentations, visits, and tours of the facilities. Flexibility is required to accommodate events and activities occurring during other than normal business hours. Mobility is required in terms of staging and assisting staff with equipment and other materials. Subject to background/security investigation.
