About the Position: These positions are with the Sacramento District, Engineering Division, Military Design Branch located in Sacramento, CA and in Phoenix, AZ.
Duties
The work is in support of the District's Military Design mission, which involves planning, design and construction of Military projects throughout portions of multiple western states.
Directs the planning, design, and integration of comprehensive in-house and Architect-Engineer (A-E) Military Construction (MILCON) projects.
Leading complex, multi-disciplinary engineering teams across multiple western states to ensure cohesive project execution.
Provides administrative and technical supervision to in-house Engineering Technical Leads (ETLs), while delivering expert technical design oversight for the new construction and modernization of military infrastructure.
Personally executes or conducts critical reviews of the most complex, high-risk, and sensitive engineering assignments to ensure strict compliance with technical standards and mission requirements.
Manages highly sophisticated or sensitive projects, conducting field investigations to resolve unprecedented construction issues, and leading strategic planning efforts to implement novel program requirements.
