Duties
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for the daily operation of the investigation program throughout the program's life cycle. Defines and establishes the investigation program key performance indicators. Develops strategic goals for the overall program and monitors the progress of the program. Manages internal and external stakeholder communication with organizations such as Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Office of Employment Discrimination Complaints Adjudication (OEDCA), Office of General Counsel (OGC). Responsible to recruit, hire, train, and support a team of EEO Investigators and EEO Assistants charged with providing investigation services to VA employees. Ensures compliance with Federal laws, rules, and policies as well as ORM operating procedures. Relays information from upper management to employees and vice versa. Appropriately addresses customer issues before escalating, avoiding the need for a higher leadership involvement. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; Tour of duty must fall within core hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Telework: Available Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
