Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Material Department of the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.
Duties
You will serve as an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Supervisor for the new construction and/or overhaul of ships and crafts.
You will supervise a team of employees, including outfitting and allowance specialists, configuration and technical specialists, and Government Purchase Card personnel.
You will resolve ILS outfitting and technical problems within the constraints of existing instructional, statutory, and contract guidelines.
You will represent the command in various ship program meetings, conferences, and reviews.
You will assess projects and processes to identify project priorities and shortfalls to ensure milestones are met.
You will assign appropriate team members to review and work all Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) incrementals.
You will support and participate in command Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) efforts.
