Duties

As a Supervisory Public Health Analyst, you will: Serve as the Deputy Director by directing the Division's operations, providing executive-level leadership, establishing strategic priorities, managing human and financial resources, and ensuring readiness and response programs are aligned with scientific evidence, national public health priorities, and organizational objectives. Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of public health policies, guidance, and program initiatives; analyzes emerging issues; assesses program effectiveness; and recommends improvements that strengthen national readiness and response capabilities. Serve as the principal advisor to senior leadership and represents the Division in interactions with Federal agencies, Congress, state, tribal, territorial, local, and international partners. Builds consensus on complex policy issues and provides authoritative guidance on national public health readiness and response activities. Direct Division readiness and response activities by overseeing and/or participating in preparedness planning, coordinating emergency response operations, ensuring operational continuity, and aligning personnel and resources to support public health emergencies and other national response efforts.
