The incumbent will assess workload demands and adjust assignments to ensure timely completion of responsibilities. Balance competing deadlines and manage multiple ongoing projects effectively. Prioritize urgent issues and triage tasks to meet program and patient needs. Monitor progress towards goals and adjust plans as necessary. Conducts a range of supervisory duties which include clinical supervision, consultation, negotiation with other departments and quality improvement. Provide regular clinical supervision to assigned social work staff, including case consultation and support. Serve as a consultant on complex cases, offering guidance and recommendations to staff. Collaborate and negotiate with other service lines or departments to resolve issues and coordinate Veteran's care. Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes. Ensures provision of clinical social work services by supervised social workers. Oversee and review case work and documentation to ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. Monitor caseloads and service delivery to ensure Veterans' needs are met. Support staff in the development and implementation of treatment plans. Intervene and provide direct support for crisis situations as needed. Provides staff training and development. Assess training needs and develop orientation and continuing education opportunities for Social Work Staff. Arrange for or deliver in-service trainings and professional development workshops. Mentor staff and facilitate opportunities for skills enhancement and career growth. Promote adherence to evidence-based practices and ethical standards. Delegates authority, manages priorities, coordinates work, and follows up on pending issues to complete duties in an accurate and timely fashion. Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution to maintain a positive work environment. Monitor program and staff performance metrics and analyze trends. Identify barriers to workflow efficiency and develop solutions to address them. Implement process improvements using data-driven decision making. Prepare reports and present findings to leadership as required. The incumbent will participate in the on-call rotation. Requirements
