Summary
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - FE/IT Services Division.
Duties
Provides administrative program direction in project management, project execution, and personnel administration.
Plans, schedules, and conducts projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Life Cycle Replacement and Modernization Projects.
Provides technical guidance and expertise, recommending or validating changes to proposed schedules and timelines. Manages the team of Project Managers overseeing all Life Cycle Replacement or Modernization projects.
Manages timeliness of project deliverables-requires effective planning, scheduling, and management of resources to ensure timely completion of project phases.
Analyzes competing requirements, schedule changes, funding variations, and recommends realignment of schedules and reallocation of available resources among program elements to best fulfill mission requirements for essential programs.
Education
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level.
