You will serve as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST in the NAVY MARINE CORPS SPECTRUM CENTER. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-13022578-26-GLST-13022578-26-GLM. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.
Duties
You will be responsible for the procurement, assignment, and protection of radio frequencies to the satisfaction of telecommunications requirements in support of the DON.
You will review work, and accept or reject products. Keeps employees informed of Navy and management goals and objectives, as well as of the changes in regulations, policies, and procedures governing the work.
You will coordinate with appropriate Federal, non-Federal, Military and other government officials of the United States and foreign countries to carry out the above actions.
You will perform the full range of supervisory functions for one subordinate civilian, GS-12 employee and one military personnel.
You will prepares and maintains Performance Plans for employees in accordance with established policy and workforce development programs.
You will provides technical guidance, recommendations and spectrum management assistance to Navy and Marine Corps commands worldwide.
