Summary
You will serve as a TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR in the QUALITY ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT of NAVSUBTORP FAC.
Duties
You will direct studies and analyze available data to identify areas that require performance improvement.
You will identify situational training needs such as procedure changes, identification of safety risks, employee development topics, etc.
You will analyze the design and development phase and determine root cause of training design weaknesses.
You will be responsible for the administration of the command Training and Qualification program.
You will serve as an advisor in training methodologies; develop metrics and strategies that support completion of the Navy’s training requirements and provide counsel to the PBFT on methods to achieve goals.
You will provide mentoring, advice, and counsel to subject matter experts (i.e. area managers), and assist in the creation and implementation of area specific training plans and applying learning strategies.
You will exercise managerial authority to direct, coordinate, and oversee work utilizing contractor training support staff to assure implementation of the goals and objectives of the MK-48 Training System.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or Possession of an LL.M., if related or A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
