Summary
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MIL) in the ENLISTED DISTRIBUTION DIVISION of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as the primary program manager for the Submarine/Nuclear Power Enlisted Training Program, providing authoritative advice and guidance on all governing laws, policies, and procedures.
You will manage the complete lifecycle of nuclear field trainees, including validating records, assigning classifications, processing station change orders, and handling reclassifications for students who attrite.
You will oversee all aspects of the Submarine Disqualification/Volunteer Program, including managing disqualification packages, maintaining records, and coordinating the screening and conversion process for service members.
You will act as the subject matter expert and approval authority for all enlisted medical waivers related to submarine duty, nuclear field duty, ionizing radiation exposure, and firefighting roles.
You will utilize a variety of computer software systems and programs (Enlisted Assignment Information System; My Navy Assignment (MNA), Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Power Point).
You will provide consultation and official recommendations for Board for Correction of Naval Records (BCNR) and Congressional inquiries concerning submarine or nuclear field communities.
You will monitor personnel reports and command communications to ensure timely and accurate pay, personnel actions, and issuance of orders for service members in submarine and nuclear field training pipelines.
